Site-By-Site Notes

Dunk setup Wall pop / aerial

Offense: Hoops dunks come from wall-pop passes. Wall setter pops the ball off the side wall toward the hoop, dunker aerials in for the slam. Practice the wall-pop angle in freeplay.

Defense: Hoops defense is layered: one player above the rim to block dunks, one below to clean up rebounds. Don't both go for the block — that's how 100% of hoops goals happen.

Net defense Below-rim hold

Offense: Counter the opponent's dunk attempt with your own aerial. After save, immediately push for a counter-dunk.

Defense: Hold below the rim, cover above the rim, no double-commits.
