When should your team spend utility?

Name the wall, the breacher and the teammate covering them. Identify the denial you can actually confirm, and agree on how to address it before exposing a charge. Do not follow a fixed round-clock script: pressure, bans, remaining utility and defender actions change the opening.

Use short calls: "Ready to breach?" "Denial disabled; check the wall." "Covering your placement." These are practice examples, not a guarantee that the wall is safe.

Drone the next move, not an arbitrary quota

Preserve information tools when possible. Check the room or angle your team is about to use, and ask a teammate to keep watching while you move. No fixed number of drones guarantees full coverage.

Say what you saw and when. If the defender could have moved, say "last seen" and refresh the information when practical. An unchecked corner is unknown, not clear. Do not delay indefinitely for perfect information when the objective or clock demands a decision.

Verify vertical angles before recommending them

In practice, check the floor, room relationship and destructible surface in the current map. Confirm that the opening gives a useful view of the intended position. Never assume that a room has playable space above it because an old guide says so.

During the match, coordinate pressure with teammates and protect your flank. Explain what the opening accomplishes: moving a defender, removing exposed utility, or covering an objective route. If it offers no useful angle, spend your time elsewhere.

Practice denial using visible and audible cues

Bandit can electrify surfaces with Shock Wire. Practice against a teammate using the breach gadget you want to understand; observe the placement, activation and denial result rather than memorizing an invented universal countdown. Ubisoft describes the gadget on its Bandit page.

Agree on cover and a fallback. Staying on a wall is not worth an automatic death when attackers gain another angle. If you cannot safely contest the breach, preserve your life and help defend the next position.

What job does each defender have?

Agree who watches the objective, who supports nearby and who delays farther away. The right distribution depends on the site, strategy and current pressure; there is no universal one-roamer limit.

Tell your IGL when your position becomes unsafe or your route back is threatened. Reassess after a teammate dies or a breach opens. Cover the objective and support each other instead of chasing a kill without a plan.
