How to Climb from Gold to Plat in Call of Duty Ranked (2026 Guide)
Gold players have meta loadouts and basic positioning. Plat demands map-specific holds, killstreak chain optimization, anti-flank discipline, and the discipline to play position-first SnD without ego-pushing.
Map-specific positioning by map
Each CoD ranked map has known anchor spots and contested angles. Specifics:
- Skidrow: Apartments balcony anchor, Mid alley AR hold, Side stairs flank-watch.
- Highrise: Helipad rooftop anchor, Office tower long sightline, Crane corner.
